My writing projects all center knowledge creation by marginalized communities, with a particular emphasis on health equity in Native communities. My writing has appeared in Bitch, Yes! Magazine, TalkPoverty, Health Affairs, High Country News, the 2022 book Aftermath: Life in Post-Roe America, and the 2023 book Artists Remaking Medicine.

As an aspiring scholar, I am invested in community-driven research to advance health equity, especially for currently and formerly incarcerated people and Indigenous communities. I’m currently a PhD student at the University of Minnesota School of Public Health.
